I am so pleased to serve as the Executive Pastor of Holy Trinity Catholic School. I have been involved in Catholic Schools for more than 20 years as chaplain in two high schools and priest in 4 different parish Catholic elementary schools throughout the Diocese of Harrisburg.
But Holy Trinity Catholic School is different! As a consolidated Catholic School, we are a partnership between the parishes of St. Joseph in Dallastown & St. Patrick in York – and this partnership has enriched our students, our school and our parishes. In a world that seems so polarized, the diversity of our students and faculty (cultural, race and religion) enriches us and it provides us opportunity to celebrate and appreciate those differences.
The biggest question parents ask is, “Why should I send my children to Catholic school?” Certainly, many of our public schools do an outstanding job educating children in the basics. But only our Catholic schools can provided that added, and more eternal, learning about God, about the anthropology of the human person (made in God’s image and likeness), about the faithful call to service and ministry, and the development of the faith-life of our students and our families. I have so often said that only in our Catholic Schools can we help our students put the world in a proper context by relating everything to God.
We at HTCS are not just a school, but truly a family! Our parents are deeply involved in the life of our school community. We all make many sacrifices to provide our students with the absolute best and well-rounded education that prepares them to live our mission: Learning Today; Leading tomorrow.
I invite you to consider the incredible benefits of a Catholic School education to your children and family. It is an investment in your children and sets the foundation for their future studies & careers and, more importantly, builds the foundation of a life-long Faith.
Come! We welcome you to check us out and learn who we are as HTCS.
